Remember the days when you always had enough room for the pies, cakes or cookies that followed the holiday meals? These days I find myself passing on dessert. That's not good. Now that I think about it, I think it's time to enjoy a dessert once in a while. The desserts I have collected are from families all over the country. They are also easy enough that I can even prepare every one of them. I hate complicated recipes. I'm too impatient. So bake your cake and eat it too. That's my new motto. Here's to families enjoying dessert again and not feeling too guilty!
