This is my family and friends favorite cookie!! Created several years ago for my husband. I would make the cookies and he would tell me, "it needs this??, try adding this!" until we perfected it to this all time favorite. When we get invited to parties I am always asked, "You are bringing your Choc Chip Cookies, right??". Hope they are enjoyed by all as much as we enjoy them.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    real butter, salt or no salt
  • 3 c
    white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed, lite or dark
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    baking soda
  • 8 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 c
    choc chips or more if you prefer

How to Make Good 'Ol' Choc Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in mixer to well blended.
  2. continue mixing and add the flour and the choc chips to well mixed.
  3. I use a medium ice cream scoop, place dough on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-11 minutes, until light golden brown.
