new orleans bread pudding
Delicious like a warm hug!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Light and fluffy, this bread pudding almost tastes like French toast. The bread is soft and custardy. Once baked, the top bread gets slightly crispy, which is a nice contrast to the pudding. Buttery, rich, sweet, and creamy, the bourbon sauce is absolutely delicious. The sauce does not have an overpowering alcohol flavor, so don't be deterred.
