In culinary terms, a vegetable is an edible plant or its part, intended for cooking or eating raw. The non-biological definition of a vegetable is largely based on culinary and cultural tradition.
I love vegetables and sometimes I will only eat vegetables for lunch and dinner. In this book I have chosen vegetables I personally enjoy and hope to make later and try.
Most children dislike peas and broccoli and even spinach but if they are made a certain way they can be enjoyed by everyone.
We all need a certain amount each day and vegetables are healthy and good for you.
Thank you to all JAP cooks for their nutritious and delicious recipes.
Hello Carol,
Thank you for liking the book. I made it because I love my vegetables but so many people dont, now I hope this book will show those who hate their veggies they can actually like them. Your recipe sounds wonderful and I can't wait to make it. Hugs.
Thanks Eileen for another great book. I too love veggies of all sorts, and this book has a wide array of veggies prepared in many different ways. Thanks also for including one of my recipes in your book. It is a winner for sure.
