I am the eldest of 11. Born in Illinois, grew up in Arkansas. I was taught by Mama, making everything from scratch. My mom utilized left overs, & anything from the garden or given to us by neighbors
I learned to do the same, have always had an interest in cooking & food preparation. I majored in Instutional Dietetics when I was in college, but dropped out to work & help my mom & Dad with my younger siblings.
I worked in Retail Food Industry 36 years, before becoming disabled. I wrote a SELF PUBLISHED cookbook of 795 recipes. My hubby & daughter Briana is my inspiration for my recipes
