Where would Southern chicken and biscuits be without it? Or the beloved cornbread, fried green tomatoes and let's not forget the most decadent desserts you could possibly eat... all include buttermilk. I know my Grandma Campbell cooked with it and Grandpa drank a glass almost every day and I am sure you too had a Grandma, Mema, Ma', Nana or Grammie that cooked with it as well.
Please enjoy this wonderful collection.

I can still memory - taste the fresh buttermilk pancakes and hot buttermilk biscuits - both made with lard! - that were cooked on the top, or in the oven, of that ancient iron stove.
