How to Make BERRY BUTTERMILK SOUP
- 1Thaw berries if frozen, drain. Set aside 5 or6 berries for garnish.
- 2In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan combine berries, water, sugar, orange peel, and juice. Bring to a boil
- 3Reduce heat cover and simmer 20 minutes. Cool 30 minutes.
- 4Pour into blender container cover and blend until smooth.
- 5Stir in buttermilk. Cover and chill thoroughly.
- 6Garnish each serving each serving with reserved berries and a thin slice of orange.
