How to Make Buttermilk Salad
- 1Drain about 3/4 of the liquid from the pineapple.
- 2Pour the pineapple and the rest of the liquid into a small pot and warm.
- 3Mix the jello and the pineapple w/ liquid.
- 4Next stir in the buttermilk.
- 5Refrigerate until thick. **This will take a while. I usually let it sit overnight.**
- 6Gently mix in the cool whip and pecans into the buttermilk mixture and place into your serving bowl. It's ready to serve!
