My favorite buttermilk waffles. The batter would make great pancakes too.

How To Make delicious buttermilk waffles

Test Kitchen Tips
We found the batter was a touch thick. We added 1/4 c more buttermilk to the batter. This can easily be adjusted to taste.
  • Whisk dry ingredients.
    Step 1
Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
    Step 2
Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and melted butter. Stir well.
  • Adjust thickness of batter.
    Step 3
If the batter seems too thick or thin, adjust with buttermilk and/or flour.
  • Pour batter into a waffle iron and cook.
    Step 4
Pour into a preheated waffle iron. Cook until crisp and golden.
