I thought this cookbook title appropriate as I am always cooking late at night it seems! I like cooking at night as it is so relaxing for me. It's quiet and the world has calmed down. I am usually preparing something for the next day. Could be for a pot luck or making something to take to someone if they had a baby or are sick or they just may need some love for a bad time they are going through in their life or I may want to bring lunch for someone at work, just because or maybe I am preparing for my own dinner or a holiday, whatever the case, I am always cooking through the night. Just me and my cats. And the cats play while I cook. For some reason they think its play time when I'm up cooking! Thats how this cookbook got it's title and the picture. :) Love it!
I've been trying to add you to my favorites sense I saw your cook book. I'm totally lost and can't manage to get it done. But I'm a trooper and I'll figure it out sooner or later.
Yea, I work in the day and cook at night. Its relaxing for me. I just have to make sure I don't go to late so I don't fall asleep at work! LOL! I just added you to my favorite cooks so I don't miss those recipes! They sound great! Thank you again Chilly for the kind words!
You're are so sweet, thank you. I'll be adding some of my mothers and Grandmothers recipes soon. I'm trying to find one of my mothers favorite cake recipes, a Harvey Wallbanger cake. It's soooo delicious. I'll be looking for more of your recipes as well. I get the late night cooking, it's one of my favorite things to do, besides sleep! :)
You are so welcome Chilly! Thank you for the Broccoli Salad recipe, one of my favorite salads! It makes me so happy that you like my book! I look forward to more of your yummy recipes!
Thank you, Tammy for adding my recipe to your beautiful cookbook. There is no better compliment you could give. I took a look inside and you've combined a lovely mix of the most wonderful recipes I can imagine. I look forward to using them all, 'specially the sausage gravy, it looks heavenly. Again, thank you for such a wonderful boost to all of our cooking endeavors.

3I like that name Ethan. I bet he was beautiful! He lived a good long life. :) Yea, it costs us an extra $30 a month rent to have the boys but what are ya gonna do, they are our boys :D
I LOVE cats. The only one I have around now is my "grand-kitty," Sonny. He belongs to my son and granddaughter. He is also spoiled. I can't have pets here in my apartment without paying an arm and a leg, and right now I just can't afford to do it. Maybe next time I move.
My husband and I once had a Maine coon named Ethan. He was beautiful (and he knew it too--he would often look at himself in the mirror!). He was black and gray and white, with gorgeous markings. He lived about 15 years. I would love to have a Scottish fold--they are so cute with their little folded ears! Well--you see what happens when I start talking about cats--lol!
