I make at least one of these pies every year during peach season. Family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 9 inch - baked pastry shell
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 ounces pkg. peach jello (powder)
  • - cool whip
  • 6 to 8 - ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

How To Make fresh peach pie

  • Step 1
    Cook water, sugar, and cornstarch until thick and clear and then dissolve peach jello into it.
  • Step 2
    Cool mixture slightly before spreading a thin coat onto baked and cooled pastry shell.
  • Step 3
    Add peach slices and then remaining sauce.
  • Step 4
    Cool. Top with Cool Whip.
