I make at least one of these pies every year during peach season. Family favorite.

Ingredients

9 inch - baked pastry shell
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 ounces pkg. peach jello (powder)
- cool whip
6 to 8 - ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

How To Make fresh peach pie

Step 1

Cook water, sugar, and cornstarch until thick and clear and then dissolve peach jello into it.

Step 2

Cool mixture slightly before spreading a thin coat onto baked and cooled pastry shell.
Step 3

Add peach slices and then remaining sauce.
Step 4

Cool. Top with Cool Whip.
