chicken and mushroom pasta
Whats not to like about this? It is easy and delicious. I wrote this recipe down a while back and found it in my stack of papers. I would write recipes down when I saw one I liked but at the time never thought to write down where or who it came from. At the time it didn't matter, I was just interested in making them, not knowing then about internet sharing. :) The picture I got from Marie Calendars as that is how it does look except I don't add the lemon slices on top.

How To Make chicken and mushroom pasta
-
Step 1Place the chicken in a fry pan with oil and just brown the chicken a little. Do not cook too long. You don't have to do this step but I like to when I cook meat in a slow cooker just to give the meat color and I just think it tastes better.
-
Step 2Place mushrooms in the bottom of the crock-pot. Place chicken breasts on top of the mushrooms.
-
Step 3In a sauce pan melt butter, dressing, soups and cream cheese together and pour over the chicken. Top with capers. Cook on low for 5 hours.
-
Step 420 minutes before you eat, cook pasta according to directions on the package and serve chicken and sauce over the pasta.
