Amazing French Toast
43/4 inch slices of frozen sara lee pound cake - thawed
1/4 cheavy cream or 2/3 cups milk
1/2 tspalmond extract
1/2 tspvanilla extract
1/4 tspground cinnamon
1/8 tspground nutmeg
1/4 cpowdered suger
How to Make Amazing French Toast
- Whisk together eggs, cream OR milk, extracts and spices.
- Soak pound cake in mixture making sure all sides are saturated. Let sit 5 minutes.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over meduim-high heat. Transfer slices of pund cake to heat ed skillet and fry until golden, turning once.
- Remove from pan and dust with powdered suger.
