Ingredients
- 4 - 3/4 inch slices of frozen sara lee pound cake - thawed
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or 2/3 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup powdered suger
How To Make amazing french toast

Step 1Whisk together eggs, cream OR milk, extracts and spices.

Step 2Soak pound cake in mixture making sure all sides are saturated. Let sit 5 minutes.

Step 3Melt butter in a large skillet over meduim-high heat. Transfer slices of pund cake to heat ed skillet and fry until golden, turning once.

Step 4Remove from pan and dust with powdered suger.
