I love Chocolate but I especially love Cocoa. Did you know, to make 1 kg (2.2 pounds) of chocolate, about 300 to 600 beans are processed, depending on the desired cocoa content. In general, chocolate and cocoa is considered to be a rich source of antioxidants such as procyanidins and flavanoids, which may impart anti aging properties. Chocolate and cocoa also contain a high level of flavonoids, specifically epicatechin, which may have beneficial cardiovascular effects on health. So with that in mind, I intend to eat my quota!

Thank you for sharing!!!! Every thing sounds so yummy. I cannot wait to try thy chocolate/strawberry cake. Im sure it will taste truly decadent I love the combined taste of chocolate and strawberries.

I look forward to making this Linda. Work has me working 6 days a week until Jan. I do get 5 days off for Thanksgiving and 7 days off for Christmas. So time is limited right now but I think by looking at it that it is going to be delicious! One of my favorite kind of cake. I've never made a Black Forest Cake before so this will be the one I do! :) Your a sweet sister!
