Hi: I consider myself a normal cook. I have done it professionally but never fancy food. I can't even spell 'sueflay' much less cook one!

I have taught cooking, and my closest claim to fame was when the Rachael Ray show called me about my post on www.thriftyfun.com where I won a contest for cooking for an afternoon then eating for a whole month.

I have had fun at the local State Fair with my award winning Watermelon Cookies and my Cream of Chicken Soup Muffins. Yep, you read right!
I love this site, as it's cute and friendly. Where have you been all my life!!
