Pumpkin Spice Dump Cake

Pumpkin Spice Dump Cake

“OH MY GOODNESS! This is so yummy. The nuts on top really make it. I will definitely make this often. The stores were all sold out of spice cake, so I used a carrot cake, which I think lent itself nicely to the pumpkin spice flavor. As I used salted butter, I left out the extra salt. I tried what someone suggested of mixing the butter/cake mix/nuts as the topping to make sure all was moistened. It worked well to moisten it, but I will say it hard to make sure the topping evenly covered the top as it was clumpy then. Next time I will try it as stated in the recipe, but if the butter doesn't completely cover all the dry portions, I'll either add some more butter or try the suggestion of spray butter to get those few dry portions. The flavor was a perfect blend. I served it with cool whip on top.” - Marcy

Caramel Pecan Apple Dump Cake

“Dump cakes are an extremely easy and popular dessert. This caramel apple version is amazing. It's a cross between an apple fritter and pecan pie. Typically dump cakes just use a fruit filling, but this recipe includes thinly sliced apples which (along with chopped pecans) add texture to the cake. Apple juice amps up the apple flavor. Yum!” - Kitchen Crew
