This is the first recipe my granny taught me how to make and has been in our family for several generations. I just love the buttery taste of the crust!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    peaches
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 stick
    butter

How to Make Dump Peach Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Melt butter in a 8x8 baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, milk, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and the vanilla into mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour batter over melted butter. Drain the peaches and pour over the batter. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar over the peaches and then sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon over all.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until done.
  6. Can garnish with whip cream or vanilla ice cream before serving.
