blueberry dump cake
My daughter cracks up at the name. It's not the prettiest cake in the batch, lol, but it certainly is yummy. And it's easy! Easy works on my hectic weeknights.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Want the easiest dessert recipe ever? Try this Crock Pot blueberry dump cake. It's seriously so simple. The end result tastes like a blueberry cobbler. The center is soft and gooey. Walnuts add a little crunch to the topping. We tasted it both hot and cold - it was delicious each way!

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make blueberry dump cake
-
Step 1Dump the blueberry pie filling into a slow cooker.
-
Step 2In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix and butter. Beat until mixed well.
-
Step 3Now sprinkle this over the top of the pie filling. Sprinkle the nuts over this.
-
Step 4Cover and cook in the slow cooker on low for 2 to 3 hours.
-
Step 5It separates a bit from the edges when it's done.
-
Step 6Serve warm with ice cream. Or, I am not big on warm fruit, so I removed the insert from the cooker and put it in the frig. I like my fruit cold.
