In a span of seventy years I've been a daughter (oldest of thirteen-only two girls), a mom of four and Grandma.
Sharing the profile picture with me is my 92 year-old mother, taken on her birthday 12-27 in 2012. The photo is not large enough for all of my siblings.
Just imagine what a super cook she is. She still bakes seven pumpkin pies (from scratch) for our Thanksgiving celebration.
------Update: Mom's now 96 and decided to go for the store-bought crust for her pies this past Thanksgiving. " So much easier", she says.
------Update: Mom has now pasted at 97 1/2. We miss her terribly
