Easy, easy, easy weeknight casserole recipe. Once you brown the beef, everything else is a breeze. You really get Asian flavors thanks to the soy sauce. The casserole is super creamy and hearty. Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 medium
    onions, chopped
  • 1 c
    celery, sliced
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)
  • 1 c
    warm water
  • 1/2 c
    rice, uncooked
  • ·
    pepper to taste
  • 1 small
    can of mushrooms, undrained
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce

How to Make Chinese-Style Hamburger Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown meat; drain.
  2. Mix meat and remaining ingredients together. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish. (Dish may be sprayed with cooking spray.)
  3. Cover and bake for about 1 1/2 hours at a 325 degree oven. (I uncover during the last 15 minutes). Bake until rice is done. Ovens may vary.
