A Dallas, TX native, I'm anything but a country gal. My friends call me a hippie chick! I also love the beach, and have lots of shabby chic and beachy natural decor scattered around the house. When it comes to cooking, though, I'm straight up Southern. Although I know how to cook the recipes my dad grew up enjoying living in Portland, OR, my heart is in my mom's southern style cooking. I have tons of family recipes from my Southern roots that I hope to get posted all in one place to share with my family and friends.
