i live in Midwest (KC) now but am a transplant. Originally from Hong Kong. I immigrated w my family to the eastern coast of the US (Hersey girl). I was tied with the us military for years. I cook because it's my passion / hobby. But also because it's economical and healthy ( I love to adapt recipes).I am mommy to two (21&18). I naturally incline toward Asian cooking . But I cook italian & Mexican too. My mom was a fab cook, best cooking instructor ever! There few basic things I learned about cooking .. Observe adapt flavor!!! Include better than exclude.
