cheesy olive balls
I ran across this recipe that I had copied from an old cookbook. It would not surprise me if this had been posted before. They are quick and easy to make and very delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne, more or less to your liking
- 25-30 - medium sized stuffed olives, well drained.
How To Make cheesy olive balls

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.

Step 2Cream together butter and cheese.

Step 3Add flour and cayenne to creamed mixture. Knead with hands until smooth.

Step 4Take 1 teaspoon of dough, gently roll into a ball, flatten and wrap around an olive. Do this for all of the olives.

Step 5Place on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6Cool on wire rack

Step 7Keeps 1 week in an airtight container. Store in a cool place.
