avocado dip
My maternal grandmother was born in 1900 on the island of Rhodes, in Greece. She and my grandfather emigrated to the US in 1919. She would make this dip and serve it with Ritz crackers. We didn’t have tortilla chips in the 60s! This is one of those recipes that takes me back to my childhood. I serve it with tortilla chips now, but once in awhile I dip a Ritz cracker for old times’ sake. Enjoy!
