I am a stay at home father/step-father of eight kids and Five Grandchildren. We have four kids at home still. I am a retired police officer and I was born in the farm country of Northwestern Ohio. I have been around wonderful German cooking since childhood and I love to cook. Grilling and now baking are my passions.
I write cookbooks in my spare time and love to create my own recipes from scratch and am now starting to raise chickens; we go through so many eggs a week. UPDATE: We have since bought a 4 acre property and have a pond. I am deciding what kind of homesteading I am going to do.
