I live in a little hamlet in the northwest boonies of Jersey. I'm a writer and own a personal training business. I'm a formerly nationally-ranked distance runner, and when it comes to cooking, I love trying new things that are (predominately) healthy. My husband is a Type I Diabetic (diagnosed pretty much out of the blue in April of 2012). Consequently, I cook very low carb meals most of the time. Sometimes, my daughter and I need our carb/sugar fix so that's when we experiment with sweet things ~
