Pecan Pie Cookies

Pecan Pie Cookies

“I've made this recipe a few times now. They never turn out "pretty" like the picture; they look more like a deflated, melted mess. (This may be from using too much pecan mixture on them; however, if I don't use that amount then I'll end up with a lot of leftover because the dough is used up. Maybe the answer is to double the dough portion of the recipe.) Anyhow, once my guests get over the look of them, 100% of them really enjoy them with dozens saying it's now one of their favorite cookies. I even brought it to a Christmas cookie baking event and everyone wanted the recipe. Thank you. This is one for my permanent recipe book that I'll be making for decades. :)” - Mary
