Both my mom and dad are chefs, so I grew up watching them cook, helping them prepare meals, and learning all of their secrets. I owe most of my cooking skills to them. A lot of recipes I post will be reminiscent of things they have made for me, or things I've picked up and created along the way.

I've never really been a measurement cooker. Most of the things I make are a pinch of this, a dash of that. I change things up based on how it tastes, or my moods. I will try my best to post the most appropriate measurements for my recipes though.
