yield
1 1/2 cups (about)
Ingredients
- 1 can 8.5 ounces artichoke hearts,drained
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice (bottled is fine)
How To Make artichoke spread filling dip
-
Step 1Drain your artichoke hearts. Add all ingredients in a food processor and whip until blended.
-
Step 2NOTE: You can use fresh onion and garlic. I sometimes saute them along with the drained artichokes before adding the cream cheese and lemon juice. I have found that using the powdered onion and garlic is just as good (if you are in a hurry) For those who like a little spice, a few shakes of tabasco is also good.
