I began cooking late in life. My mother could never get me interested in cooking, possibly because I was a picky eater. It wasn't until I got married and she gave me a Betty Crocker cookbook that I took an interest. I discovered that I loved cooking for my husband and son. My husband passed when my son was only twelve, but I continued to cook for my son and for our family get-togethers. I don't have as many occasions to cook these days but I still enjoy viewing and sharing recipes.
