I'm a military brat with an Okie dad and a German mom. That makes for a meat-and-potatoes kind of a background, but we all broadened our horizons. :-) I've lived in Colorado for over twenty years, so i'm guessing this is my final home. I love to cook and try new recipes, and my husband is a willing participant in my experiments. I also enjoy the "let's see what's in the cupboard and make something up" school of cooking. I'm a happy grandma to an adorable fourteen-month-old little girl. I am truly blessed.
