My mother gave me this recipe many years ago. It's an easy one for when you don't feel like cooking, and my family loves it. If you don't have the cheese at home and want to make this dish, go for it. It's good without cheese, too.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 1/4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash cayenne (ground)
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 can mexican style corn
- 1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 4 ounces monterey jack cheese
How To Make skillet supper

Step 1Brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings; bring to a boil.

Step 2Add undrained corn, macaroni and water. Reduce heat and cook covered until macaroni is done to your liking.

Step 3Sprinkle with cheese and heat until it is melted.
