Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
1 1/2 to 2 lblean ground beef
1 Tbspolive oil
1 largeonion, chopped
2 clovegarlic, minced
1 smallhead of cabbage, chopped
2 can(s)use 14.5 oz sized cans diced tomatoes
1 can(s)8oz(more if needed) can tomatoe sauce
1 tspblack pepper
1 tspsea salt
How to Make Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook, stirring until ground beef is no longer pink and onion is tender.
- Add garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute
- Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomatoe sauce,water, pepper and salt.
- Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
