Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2-2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (14.5 oz each)
- 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz), plus more if needed
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make unstuffed cabbage rolls

Step 1In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Step 2Add the ground beef and onion and cook, stirring until ground beef is no longer pink and onion is tender.

Step 3Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.

Step 4Add the cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, pepper, and salt.

Step 5Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 - 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
