To start off, I ABSOLUTLY love to bake! Especially when I can bake my Lovely Irish Goodies. I don't think you should have to wait for a holiday to enjoy the deserts or goods because the shops don't carry them. During the year, and even some at St. Patrick's Day, many of the bakery shops don't even know what Irish Soda Bread is, crazy! I bake Irish Soda Bread every few weeks, I can't imagine going without it. It would be like most people going without their coffee. I make my Teacakes, Scones, Cakes, Biscuits, Brack, and best is Irish Apple Cake, FANTASTIC! Irish too? Home sick? Let's talk here
