Introduction
My grandparents were scheduled on the SS Titanic to come to america on it's maiden voyage. My grandfather worked for the cruise line as a cook. They were bumped at the last minute by a party that could pay $5.00 more than my grandfather could. That twist of fate allowed my father to be born. My grandmother was pregnant at the time.
