neeps. aka rutabaga or swede
My English grandmother always made these for holiday dinners. My mom kept the tradition and made the same dinner as her mom. We could not deviate from traditional menu until my mom could no longer do the dinners and allowed my brother and me to do them. We stuck to tradition but added other dishes. Mom a couple of my kids and I were the big neep fans. I cook them often. Not fancy just simple goodness. Friends babies always scarf these down. And so healthy
