How to Make Our Favorite Strawberry Pancake or Dessert Syrup
- Place strawberries in a blender or food processor. Cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a saucepan.
- Add sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and butter. Bring to a gentle boil. Gently boil and stir constantly for one minute. Skim off foam; strain seeds, if a clear sauce is desired.
- Serve with additional fresh strawberries and whipped cream over pancakes, waffles, angel food cake, ice cream or other desserts.
