How to Make Warm Creamy Chocolate Sauce For Fruit or Ice Cream
- In medium microwavable bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar and salt. Whisk in evaporated milk until well combined.
- Microwave on high for approximately one minute or until it just reaches a low boil. Whisk briskly. Return to microwave and again bring to just below a boil again. (Don't allow to fully boil. Watch carefully and don't overcook.) Remove from microwave.
- Whisk again. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Whisk briskly. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve with sliced Granny Smith apples, fresh strawberries, over angel food cake or as an ice cream topping. YUM!
Be sure to refrigerate leftovers... if there are any. =)
