warm creamy chocolate sauce for fruit or ice cream
Also known as %$#@ Delicious Mississippi Mud Sauce in my home. lol This is an incredibly easy and delicious microwave, fudgy sauce that we use on ice cream, sliced Granny Smith apples and fresh strawberries on Valentine's Day as a warm, creamy chocolate dipping sauce. Made in less than five minutes, you'll wonder why you ever bought that tasteless stuff at the store. Impress your Valentine every day of the year! My Photo

How To Make warm creamy chocolate sauce for fruit or ice cream
-
Step 1In medium microwavable bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar and salt. Whisk in evaporated milk until well combined.
-
Step 2Microwave on high for approximately one minute or until it just reaches a low boil. Whisk briskly. Return to microwave and again bring to just below a boil again. (Don't allow to fully boil. Watch carefully and don't overcook.) Remove from microwave.
-
Step 3Whisk again. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Whisk briskly. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve with sliced Granny Smith apples, fresh strawberries, over angel food cake or as an ice cream topping. YUM! Be sure to refrigerate leftovers... if there are any. =)
