Ingredients

  • 1 large piece aluminum foil
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons baking soda

How To Make remove tarnish from silverware in 10 minutes

  • Step 1
    Line a bowl with foil, going all the way up the sides.
  • Step 2
    Pour in boiling water and add baking soda. Place silver or silverware in the bowl making sure it touches the aluminum foil and it’s covered completely with water – if you need more water, adjust the baking soda amount accordingly.
  • Step 3
    Let it soak for 10 minutes or another 5 minutes if it needs it.
  • Step 4
    When time is up, rinse under lukewarm water and buff it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
  • Step 5
    If there’s still some tarnish on, repeat the water bath process.
