I am not sure where the name or the recipe came from, but it is delicious and easy to make.

vanilla wafers, crushed
1 Tbsp
1 1/2 tsp
lemon rind
1 stick
melted butter


1 can(s)
1 lb. 14 oz can fruit cocktail, drained.
1 pt
sour cream
whipped cream with nutmeg

How to Make Connecticut Pie


  • 1Mix crust ingredients together and press into a 9" pie dish.
  • 2Mix the fruit cocktail and the sour cream together and place in pie shell. Bake 350 for 20 minutes. Chill.
  • 3When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and nutmeg
