I am not sure where the name or the recipe came from, but it is delicious and easy to make.

  • 1 1/4 c
    vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    lemon rind
  • 1 stick
    melted butter

  • 1 can(s)
    1 lb. 14 oz can fruit cocktail, drained.
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • ·
    whipped cream with nutmeg

How to Make Connecticut Pie


  1. Mix crust ingredients together and press into a 9" pie dish.
  2. Mix the fruit cocktail and the sour cream together and place in pie shell. Bake 350 for 20 minutes. Chill.
  3. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and nutmeg
