Colorful, tasty and refreshing, this is absolutely delicious! This is definitely the perfect dessert for the summer months...

Ingredients For fruit salad

  • 1/4 c
    agave nectar (substitute honey)
  • 1 Tbsp
    freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp
    lime zest
  • 1 Tbsp
    cointreau liqueur
  • 2 c
    strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced
  • 2 c
    blueberries, washed
  • 2 c
    mangoes, peeled, stoned and diced
  • 2 c
    mandarin oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 1 1/2 c
    pineapple, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 1/2 c
    kiwifruits, peeled, sliced and halved
  • 1 1/2 c
    seedless red grapes, washed and halved
  • 1 c
    bananas, peeled and diced

How To Make fruit salad

  • 1
    In a small bowl, combine agave nectar, orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice, and zests; whisk until well blended and set aside.

    In a large bowl, combine all the fruits except the diced bananas. If not serving immediately, cover with plastic wrap making sure it touches the surface.

    If serving right away, add bananas and pour on agave nectar mixture; toss gently. Add diced bananas and carefully toss again. Yields 14 cups
