peachy muffins
Had a few organic peaches, and wanted to do something with them. This is what I came up with… Peaches in a muffin tin. So, you ready… let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup flour, all purpose variety
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt, kosher variety
- 1/2 can milk, whole fat
- 3 tablespoons sweet butter, unsalted
- 2 medium peaches, skins removed, quartered and chopped
- - fresh cinnamon, to taste
- - light brown sugar, to taste
How To Make peachy muffins

Step 1Gather your ingredients.

Step 2Add the milk, brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt to at bowl.

Step 3Mix to combine, and reserve.

Step 4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 370f (187c).

Step 5Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter to the bottom of the muffin tins.

Step 6Chef’s Note: I’m using paper muffin cups, but that’s not necessary.

Step 7Place the muffin tin in the oven, for five minutes.

Step 8Remove from the oven with the melted butter.

Step 9Divide the flour mixture between the 6 muffin tins.

Step 10Add the peaches to the tins.

Step 11Add some brown sugar, and cinnamon to the top of each muffin.

Step 12Place into the oven, and bake for about 25 minutes, or until nicely browned.

Step 13Allow the muffins to cool, and then serve while still warm. Enjoy.

Step 14Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
