Had a few organic peaches, and wanted to do something with them.

This is what I came up with… Peaches in a muffin tin.

So, you ready… let’s get into the kitchen.

1/2 c
light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c
flour, all purpose variety
1 tsp
baking powder
1 pinch
salt, kosher variety
1/2 can(s)
milk, whole fat
3 Tbsp
sweet butter, unsalted
2 medium
peaches, skins removed, quartered and chopped
fresh cinnamon, to taste
light brown sugar, to taste

How to Make Peachy Muffins


  • 1Gather your ingredients.
  • 2Add the milk, brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt to at bowl.
  • 3Mix to combine, and reserve.
  • 4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 370f (187c).
  • 5Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter to the bottom of the muffin tins.
  • 6Chef’s Note: I’m using paper muffin cups, but that’s not necessary.
  • 7Place the muffin tin in the oven, for five minutes.
  • 8Remove from the oven with the melted butter.
  • 9Divide the flour mixture between the 6 muffin tins.
  • 10Add the peaches to the tins.
  • 11Add some brown sugar, and cinnamon to the top of each muffin.
  • 12Place into the oven, and bake for about 25 minutes, or until nicely browned.
  • 13Allow the muffins to cool, and then serve while still warm. Enjoy.
  • 14Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
