This recipe came to me from Jeannie (a friend at Weight Watchers). I love this even more as second day leftovers served with homemade yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups regular oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins or fruit
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/3 cup flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • - **optional: chopped walnuts

How To Make jeannie's baked oatmeal

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together in a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Bake 35 minutes at 350.
  • Step 3
    ***Great the next day with yogurt!
