I tend to use it in many recipes to enhance the butter flavor, especially in cakes. Butter is always good . smile

Yes, I have used Butter Flavored Extract, and presently have it stored in my cupboard. I will have to try making the Rum Butter Glaze...the word butter in it, sounds delicious to me..so true!

Yes it is very good, have you ever used Butter Flavored extract? It really does add a lot of butter flavor to cakes. I am sure you will love the Rum Butter Glaze.

I am thinking about making the Rum Bundt cake with a Butter glaze next time. Butter is one of the flavors that I love too. I really love white or yellow cake with butter cream frosting. But, Butter Glaze sounds delicious!

I love the glaze that you made also, it really does penetrate the cake, and makes it even more moist, not to mention the flavors, they are awesome. I also make a Rum Bundt cake with a Butter glaze that is very good, when I added the recipe, I made one with cake mix, and the other from scratch, and of course I preferred the one that was made from scratch. RUM GLAZED BUNDT CAKES I use a variation of that glaze on quite a few of my cakes. Thanks again for your comments Brenda.

I agree...the cake looks beautiful with sliced oranges on top of it...and the glaze does make it look very festive too...beautiful!

Thanks again Brenda, I am happy to hear that you like the cake server. Yes the cake with the added glaze looks a lot more festive than the one without the glaze, but they both taste great. Since I had pulverized Oranges in the cake, I thought I would add them to the top of the cake as well, and they really did make the cake look alive.

Brenda thanks so much for sharing a picture of your beautiful masterpiece, I love it with the glaze that you used on it, the one from my other recipe, I too will be adding a glaze to the one I made yesterday, but a bit different from this one. I will post my pictures too when I am done. Great Job on the cake , and so glad you love it.

I see you used the Free Cake Server that you got with your cookbook in the picture. It adds a nice touch, Smile they are all but gone, I just had a few more left, my daughter ordered these for me one Christmas to compliment my cookbook, and now I just have a few left. Again Thanks for sharing your picture.
