That's great Dan. The dried venison is to die for. We have some marinating right now to do next Wednesday.

your dried venison looks really good...I need to try it. and yes, I took the moose last fall on an epic hunt in the wrangel mountains. 21 days out of a backpack and tent and am told that I was the first guy to take all 5 on one hunt...started at the bottom for moose and grizz, then up into the mountains for ram & goat and back down for black bear...lost 11 lbs with that hunt, brought home 700 lbs of meat, and paid for/donated the rest to needy shelters in Anchorage.

I had looked at picture #1 in the oven, which made my mouth water & now #2, which made it water even more, so I wanted to see it cut.

Did you actually kill the moose? And then have it processed & shipped? I have 27# of venison roasts in netting right now marinating for 7 days to make DRIED VENISON OR SMOKED PORK BUTTS OR LOIN It's a little hard to get netting on meat without one of those horn things. Maybe someday on that too!!TeeHee!!
