I'm a former newspaper reporter whose paper went out of business after 174 years, leaving me high and dry after I worked there for 27 of those years.

The good thing?

My philosophy became "any day you learn something is a good day!"

That means I learn everything I can about cooking, every WAY I can. That means I'm not a food snob -- I just love food!
