I'm the type of person who is usually using alternatives to replace original items. Subbing one thing for another.
IE, Vanilla extract can be subbed with, "French Vanilla Creamer". Baking Soda with, "Sprite".
Measuring, is a sort of also.
For most of my recipes, measurements are usually, "to taste"..
