Been cooking since in grade school (1950s). I learned a lot from my grandmother, one of the best bakers I have ever known. She lived until she was 95 and cooked on her own until she was 90. My mom wasn't much of a cook, just basics, but my dad taught me all about soup making and it is still the course I do best.
