I come from a large family of women who all make things homemade. Mom would be up at 4A.M. to put the cinnamon rolls in the oven that rose overnight, holiday meals were started a day or two before, I helped my grandmother make pasta by turning the crank of the macaroni machine as she laid out newly cut spaghetti on a cloth... you get the picture. Measuring spoons and cups were seldom used; it was just a way of life and a way to tell family and friends they were loved.

I love cooking and baking and learning how the rest of the world cooks.
