I am a retired state parole officer and director of a male diversionary prison facility. I continue to work as a consultant and do volunteer mentoring in one of our inner city middle schools through the Reach 180 Program. Cooking is absolutely my passion when not working. I am a firm believer that Southern Hospitality is something that is in your blood if you are born in the South. Food is a way of showing love, sympathy, compassion, gratitude and actually, all things good. We also believe it is a sin not to share a recipe.
